In my experience, most business strategies take somewhere around 90 days to play out (and that assumes that you’ve CONSISTENTLY taken the action steps required of your strategy) and start seeing results.
In that time you’ve had the chance to get feedback, tweak your direction and hone your skills. It’s highly likely that you’ll not only see yourself getting better, you’ll also see a shift in momentum – with changes in key metrics like:
- Discovery Calls
- Email list
- Audience size
- Number of clients or customers
It’s at that point too that the compound effect starts to happen with the most magical things showing up both expectedly and unexpectedly
- A left field invitation to speak at an event
- Someone sharing your work on their page
- You being mentioned in a place that is full of your ideal clients ⠀
I’ve witnessed all of these happen and more.
In the context of a lifetime, 3 months is really a drop in the ocean. Especially when we’re talking about the biggest dream on your heart right now coming to life. Right?!
The thing is, most people don’t implement their strategy for 90 days – I’m just being honest here and when I first started out, I struggled with it too. As I watch those around me I see most will lose steam, their lack mindset takes over or life “gets in the way” somewhere between 2 and 4 weeks.
It’s crazy! They either disappear and make a comeback a month or so later with hopes that this time is will be different or they change their freakin strategy….. both do the exact same thing.
They keep you stuck and in a cycle that repeats over and over again – each time looking slightly different but playing out the exact same way.
Have you noticed yourself in this cycle? Yes or no, are the actions you’re taking at the moment reflective of what you want to achieve 3 months from now? What needs to change for you to show up FULLY for your strategy for the next 90 days?
